DIY Facials

Whether you’re planning a nice quiet evening to yourself, or looking for something unique to do with your mom or girlfriends, we have the perfect project for you! We are going to teach you all the steps and techniques that you need to conduct your very own spa-quality, DIY facials at home using our 3-Step Skincare System.

Step 1: Cleanse
The very first thing you need to do when before a facial is to make sure that you cleanse your face. Use our InflorEssence Facial Cleanser to remove dead skin cells, dirt, impurities, and any leftover makeup from the day so that you are starting your luxurious DIY facial with a clean slate.

Step 2: Apply Steam
The next step in your at-home, DIY facial is to use steam to open all the pores on your face. The best way to do this (if you do not have a facial steamer) is to pour boiling water in a large bowl. From there you can drape a large towel over the back of your head while resting your face above the bowl, allowing the steam to penetrate your pores. Make sure the steam is warm, not hot. This is one of the more relaxing and soothing aspects of your DIY facial but also one of the most beneficial by loosening any dirt and debris that has been resting deep in your pores.

Step 3: Apply a DIY Face Mask
Since we don’t have any face masks in our product line (…yet!) we are going to give you a great DIY formula for a face mask that you can make right from the comfort of your own home. Combine one tablespoon of green clay, one tablespoon of water and two pumps of our InflorEssence Moisturizer together and apply it generously to your face. Now it’s time to sit back, relax and enjoy! Leave the mask on for 20 minutes and then rinse away.

Step 4: Apply Serum
No facial would be complete without at least some sort of facial massage, right?! Apply a dime sized amount of our InflorEssence Serum to your face. This will act as the oil base for your massage. For the perfect facial massage gently rub the serum into your skin in upwards and outwards circular motions. Facial massages are really good for the skin because they help to increase circulation and oxygen flow to the muscles on your face, helping to combat wrinkles and stress! We also love using our Jade Roller to apply serum because it will help to increase circulation and skin elasticity while also helping to detoxify your face.

Step 5: Moisturize
Last but definitely not least…apply our InflorEssence Moisturizer in circular motions to your face. Applying moisturizer on top of the serum allows the moisturizer to deeply penetrate into your skin - keeping your face hydrated and nourished. Additionally, our Moisturizer contains many anti-acne properties, helping to reduce inflammation and redness as well as helping to decrease the appearance of acne scarring over time.
