Must Have Beauty Tools

As you know, here at Altilis Beauty we’re all about skincare. This is why we have created a revolutionary 3-Step Skincare System that is specially formulated to rejuvenate and nourish your skin. What you may not know about us is that we also LOVE beauty tools. Beauty tools are just what the name suggests – tools that you can use to enhance your skincare routine. This week we did a round-up of our favourite beauty tools that can be used with your 3-Step Skincare System!

Konjac Sponge
A konjac sponge is a sponge made from the konjac root (a root vegetable grown in Asia) and can be used as a gentle physical exfoliator for your face. To use this beauty tool, apply the InflorEssence Facial Cleanser directly to your face or the sponge and gently massage the sponge in circular motions. Try to focus extra attention on troubled areas. A konjac sponge is the perfect addition to your skincare routine because the micro fibres are soft but small for exfoliation and a deep cleanse of every pore. Additionally, konjac sponges are very affordable and are great for every skin type. We recommend using the konjac sponge 3-7 times per week.

Clarisonic Face Brush
An automatic cleansing brush such as a Clarisonic, can be used in conjunction with your InflorEssence Facial Cleanser for a really deep clean. The oscillating brush helps to penetrate into your pores to remove dirt, oil and makeup and is much more effective than using just your hands alone. The great part about the Clarisonic is that you can buy a variety of interchangeable brush heads depending on your skin type and desired outcome. We recommend using the brush 1-3 times per week.

Jade Roller
Although jade rollers have been around for a very long time, they have recently resurfaced as a go-to beauty tool. A jade roller is essentially a massaging tool that can be used on your face to increase circulation and decrease inflammation. It’s an effective beauty tool for reducing puffiness. If you often find yourself with puffy under eyes or cheeks in the morning, store your jade roller in the freezer and roll it on those troubled areas when you wake up. Use this tool with our InflorEssence Serum for best results.

Bamboo Cloth
Lastly, a bamboo cloth is a great addition to your skincare routine. Bamboo cloths are soft and gentle on your skin and will remove the cleanser after you wash your face. Using a bamboo cloth in your skincare routine helps to clear your face of bacteria, dirt, oil and makeup, and is more effective than your hands. We recommend using a bamboo cloth every time you wash your face. However, it is important to remember to change your bamboo cloth after every use to ensure that your cloth is bacteria-free.

Adding beauty tools to your skin care routine is a personal journey. You should take the time to try them out and find what works for you. These are some of our favourite beauty tools, let us know your favourites in the comments below!
